slippery slope
gotta be careful when you start regretting things. do you regret that it's done? do you regret that it happened at all? do you regret the end? or the beginning? the whole thing? do you regret that you left? or that you came? regret the way it was? the way it is? regret 1, 9, 12, 19, 21, 31 years?

I don't tend to regret stuff, or blame myself for stuff...but I'm far too big on nostalgia in general.
ReplyDeleteI look back constantly - miss things, have warm thoughts about things, sometimes even lie to myself about the way things were and mistakenly think that even the bad bits were kinda good.
It's my fatal-flaw-in-character type of thing.
I think sometimes maybe I miss the current stuff whilst I quietly obsess about the past...
